TEACHERS GIFTS
What Do You Give Teachers?

Teachers do so much to prepare our children for life and they ask for so little in return. What do you give teachers to show how much you appreciate them?

  • Gift Cards – What do you give teachers in the way of a gift card? Whether it’s for coffee, tea, lunch, a night out at the movies or dinner, groceries, spa treatments, or craft supplies a gift card allows the teacher to spoil themselves. Gift card offer endless possibilities to show your appreciation.
  • Your Time – Give teachers some of your time by volunteering a few hours in the classroom. Children love having their parents in the classroom but remember to share your time with all of the students in the classroom.
  • Homemade Gifts – Teach your kids to help make personalized handmade crafts like scarves, hats, aprons, and totes. You and your child can make homemade food gifts like no-bake cookies. Create a pottery vase and fill it with flowers from your garden.
  • School Supplies – Reduced school budgets mean that teachers have less to spend on extras. Consider supplies that are frivolous like fun scented markers, stickers, double-sided tape, note cards, specialty papers etc.
  • Thank You Cards – Most times a simple thank you is all your teacher really needs. You can write your teacher a heartfelt note to thank them for everything they do. Remember to also have your children write thank you notes to their teachers.
